Youth Ecological Center (YEC) is based in Dushanbe. YEC is an independent non-governmental organization seeking to address socio-ecological issues and problems.
The mission of YEC is to encourage students, teachers and scientists to play a more active role in environmental matters.
YEC collects, processes and disseminates information on the environment in Tajikistan, on civic initiatives and groups contributing to the sustainable development of the country.

Important events, meetings, conferences concerning NGO development. The press service of the Information centre publishes the following on a monthly basis: social-environmental bulletin Tabiat (Nature), which includes: information about ecological issues in the country and abroad, information about NGO activities, resource information for the development of NGOs. Tabiat is distributed to NGOs, governmental ministries and international organizations in print and as an electronic version.
YEC Training Center One of the priority aims of YEC is the ecological education of society including education on the rights of youth and NGOs.
